“Art can never be made by machine alone,” states Zhou Xiaohu when speaking about creating his sculptural installations, which involve animation and other analogue elements.

“单单靠机器的力量是创造不了艺术的。” 在谈到他那些融合了动画及其他虚拟元素的雕塑装置作品时，周啸虎如是说。

Entitled, Golden Needle the work in front of the exhibition space consists of a column, made up of four LED screens, each displaying a looping sequence of a simple gesture: a hand hammering a golden needle into the ground. Intended to cut to the heart of consumerist post-modern society and powerfully reminding us of the ephemeral value of a hyper-commercial lifestyle. 

这次他展出的作品《金针》包括一个由四个LED屏幕组成的圆柱，每个屏幕上都循环放映着同样一个简单的姿势：一只捶打金针的手。这部作品旨在激起人们对后现代消费主义、高度商业化生活方式转瞬即逝的反思。

On the occasion of Double Infinity, Zhou Xiaohu also presents The Party Camp Project 派对营 for the opening of the exhibition. Here, members of audience, local and international guests as well as party waiters and other technical staff, are invited to join the opening of the exhibition, acting on the orders made by the artist over headphones which each of the participants must wear. The video documentation of these activities can be seen on the monitors. 

在《双倍无限》活动当天，周啸虎将向在场观众展示他的作品：《派对营》。届时，他将邀请所有本地和国际来宾、派对侍应以及其他技术人员参与到展览开幕式中来，让每位参与者头戴耳机，依照艺术家发出的一系列指令行事。这些活动的视频将在大屏幕上播放。

Zhou Xiaohu was born in 1960 in Changzhou. He received his BFA from the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in Chengdu, China in 1989

周啸虎1960年出生于中国江苏省常州市，1989年毕业于中国四川美术学院，获得美术学士学位。
