Boukje Schweigman often works closely with set and lighting designer Theun Mosk. The work Schweigman and Mosk produce is not easily comparable with existing theatre as these young theatre people developed a whole new and authentic theatrical language. In The Netherlands Schweigman and Mosk are mostly known for their remarkable visual power and their approach which strongly appeals to the senses. The spectator is fysically invited into their surreal world and the boundaries between audience-space and performer-space are streched. Schweigman and Mosk examine and play with the way the audience percieves and experience their direct environment.
柏克•斯威格曼(Boukje Schweigman)与装置和灯光艺术家德恩•莫斯科(Theun Mosk)有十分紧密的合作关系,他们的创作与现有的戏剧有很大的不同,这群年轻的剧院青年自创了一套全新且地道的戏剧语言。在荷兰,斯维格曼和莫斯科的作品以无与伦比的视觉力量以及对感官的强烈冲击而闻名,他们为观众营造了一个超现实的世界,模糊了表演者与观众之间的空间界限。斯维格曼和莫斯科十分注重观察观众了解体会他们周围环境的方法,并借鉴这种方法进行表演的思考和创作。
The audience is seated in white dresses around the stage like in a witch-circle or is floating in a lake in a big red bowl. Realising there is more to a theatrical experience then just staging the play and executing their vision on theatre, the audience is brought in a state of mental disorder in which their senses are open to the amazing and enstranging world of Schweigman and Mosk.
在《漩涡》的表演中,观众会统一身着白色服装围绕舞台坐成圈状,好像在进行一场巫师仪式,又好像一只漂浮于湖上的红色巨碗。在表演的过程中,观众会逐渐明白这样的安排不仅仅是为了视觉和舞台表现,而是编者在追求给予观众一种不可取代的剧场体验随着表演的进行,观众会逐渐进入一种精神错乱的状态,而在这种错乱的状态下他们更能融入斯维格曼和莫斯科所缔造的惊奇世界。
“Often we are looking for miracles, while we are surrounded by them. We only have to find a way of observing through which we experience the miracle. Theatre starts in the three-dimensional world wherein both performer and spectator join. Therefor it is pre-eminently fit for a shared experience in which the senses are focused and the imagination will be challenged.” (Boukje Schweigman)
人们时时在寻找奇迹,但却不知我们正被奇迹包围着。我们唯一需要做的只是寻找一种能够感知奇迹的观察方法。剧院是一个三维的世界,表演者和观众都身处其中。因此在剧院这个绝佳的体验共享媒介中,观众的感官能够更为集中,想象也更为狂野。
