Korzo theatre is home to the production house for modern dance.

KORZO PRODUCTIONS is the name of the production house for modern dance. It’s a name that is finding its way more and more into the programmes of theatres in The Netherlands. And always in combination with names of young or leading choreographers or connected with new and stimulating initiatives in the Dutch dance scene.

One of the calling cards of Korzo Productions is the biennial CaDance festival for modern dance. The production house has also made its name with such events as Voorjaarsontwaken and Here we live and now . Both feature the new choreographic talent that The Netherlands has to offer. Many young creatives have gotten their start in these festivals. It also where choreographers such as André Gingras, Bruno Listopad, Dylan Newcomb and Sjoerd Vreugdenhil premiere their new works.

After a premiere and a run in our own theatre, Korzo’s productions go on tour to the Dutch theatres, but also to theatres abroad. Usually as full-length programmes, sometimes in combined programmes like this season’s Danscombinatie and the tours of the new programme, Dansclick .

So you’re more than likely to see the name Korzo Productions somewhere this season, always linked to choreographers who, now and in the future, will make a name for themselves in the Dutch dance scene.
