Ode to the Happiest City in Holland

Utrecht Guild poet Ruben van Gogh was inspired by a number of well-known and lesser-known places in and outside the city of Utrecht, an international meeting place of Knowledge & Culture. Images from Utrecht together with the poems and music of the Holland Baroque Society provided input for students from the Utrecht School of the Arts in creating a musical, poetic, visual and – literally and figuratively – animated portrait of Utrecht.

The portrait evolves gradually into a show with Utrecht’s coolest band, C-Mon & Kypski, with the cooperation of the musicians of the Holland Baroque Society, Ruben van Gogh,  a street organ of the National Museum from Musical Clock to Street Organ and Fan Yi, a local yangqin player.
