Piano concerts
Pianist and musicologist Ralph van Raat (1978) studied the piano at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and Musicology at the University of Amsterdam. And He concluded both studies with “Cum Laude”.

Van Raat appears as a recitalist in The Netherlands, in Europe, the Middle-East and Asia as well as the United States. Many of his concerts have been broadcasted by Dutch and foreign radio and television networks. Van Raat also performs as a soloist with ensembles and orchestras and he played at important festivals such as the Holland Festival and the Tanglewood Summer Festival in the US. He has worked closely with many composers on the interpretation of their piano works, such as with John Adams, Louis Andriessen, György Kurtág and John Tavener. He regularly gives master classes and workshops to students and music-lovers also, such as at the conservatories around the world.
