IDFA Master class by Carmen Cobos
The master class has a total duration of 2.30 hrs. and is divided into two parts of 75 minutes with a 15 minute break.
Carmen Cobos will start the master class by telling the audiences how he got into producing, and what he found interesting about producing. Then Carmen will ask the audience what they think a producer does, and if they want to be producers themselves.
After the introduction she will give some general information about producing

What are the responsibilities of a producer
What skills does a producer need
After the general information she will discuss the different aspects of producing
Ideas and scripts
Financials
Pre-production, production and post-production
Promotion, marketing and sales
15 Minute Break
After the break, she will talk about producing in Europe
The different laws that are important in Europe
The contract that need to be made
Working with people in Europe
Building a network in Europe
Carmen Cobos has chosen the Chinese subtitled film FOREVER to show different examples of producing to the audiences.
Finally there will be time left for Questions & Answers from the audiences.
